Government Scheme Eligibility Checker – UI/UX Assignment – Using Figma
Assignment Overview
As part of my journey into UI/UX design, I took on an assignment to design a desktop-based web interface that helps users identify the government schemes they are eligible for, based on personal data such as age, gender, income, marital status, and more. The interface also includes an admin dashboard for publishing and managing new schemes.
Tools Used:
- Learn the fundamentals of UI/UX using Figma
- Apply structured user flow logic to a real-world use case
- Design a clean, user-friendly desktop experience
What I Did
- Learned the basics of Figma: wireframing, layout design, and prototyping
- Designed a step-by-step desktop flow for users with conditional inputs
- Created an intuitive admin panel for scheme creation and management
- Linked all screens using Figma’s prototype features for a complete user journey
Key Features
- Designed specifically for desktop screen sizes
- Logical flow: shows or hides inputs based on age, gender, etc.
- Admin functionality for data input and scheme publishing
- Seamless prototype navigation between all screens
What I Learned
- UI/UX design principles for desktop interfaces
- Prototyping and user flow mapping in Figma
- Creating reusable design elements and maintaining layout consistency
- Turning a textual concept into a structured interface
